Barry Cowan wins Nottingham Masters

Barry Cowan has won the Nottingham Masters 2010 defeating Mikael Pernfors from Sweden 4:6 6:3 10:5. In a very exciting final Cowan lost the first set but never gave up and won the match in the super tie-break of the third set.

Meanwhile, Richard Krajicek secured third place by beating Jeremy Bates in two straight sets. Krajicek surprisingly lost to Cowan on Day Three of the Nottingham Masters but he showed much better form today.

In her fourth match of the event, Martina Hingis showed once again that she is still a top-class player. The Suiss played Michaella Krajicek from the Netherlands and won the first set 6:4 but Krajicek got the better of her opponent in the second set and also won the super tie-break 10:2.
