Junior Wimbledon Champion is playing in Nottingham

Kuznetsov Trophy (* NEW *)

Junior Wimbledon Champion Andrey Kuznetsov will play at the Nottingham Masters 2010.

The 19-year-old Russian surprisingly won the title at the All England Championships in July 2009, beating Jordan Cox. Kuznetsov remained composed to overturn a one-set deficit against the American qualifier and ran out a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.

Now, Andrey is coming to the Nottingham Tennis Centre in order to prepare to defend his title at Wimbledon. He will appear on all tournament days, playing against other ATP- and Junior players. Andrey is very excited to play in Nottingham, saying that "the Nottingham Masters will give me the perfect preparation for Wimbledon".

In addition to Kuznetsov, we will  once again have an exciting programme and we will be bringing together a strong team of legends stars to Nottingham. Former Wimbledon champion and world number one Martina Hingis will be appearing, along with British star Jeremy Bates and last year’s tournament winner Richard Krajicek. Mansour Bahrami will also be returning to entertain the crowds with his trick shots.
