15-year-old British Junior Wimbledon Champion Laura Robson will be playing in Nottingham this week and we caught up with her as she made her preparations for the grass court season.

Q. How do you manage balancing your tennis life with education?

Laura: I try to fit studying in as much as possible around my training times and matches. Any chance I can get during the day and after dinner I have my school books out like a good girl. :)

Q. Who would you most like to meet?

Laura: The actor Robert Pattinson.

Q. Who have you met that you have been start struck by?

Laura: Enrique Iglesias! I was literally shaking.

Q. Where is the best place you've travelled to?

Laura: Barbados on holiday, it was paradise!

Q. Who is your best friend?

Laura: Genie Bouchard, she is Canadian so I don’t get to see her that often, so we spend silly amounts of time together at tournaments.

Q. What's the worst thing about traveling?

Laura: I have to do my own washing! :(

Q. What's the best thing about being on the tour?

Laura: Meeting different people from across the World.

Q. What is your favourite event and why?

Laura: Wimbledon, because it's on my favourite surface and I get to stay at home and also have the home crowd supporting me. Oh, and my brother likes to wink at the BBC cameras!

Q. What are your goals for this year?

Laura: To improve as much as I can and hopefully the good results will come along with that.

Q. What advice do you have for any young children wanting to take up the sport?

Laura: Enjoy it and try your best. If you want to see my tennis tips, along with Tim Henman's, visit www.robinsonsdrinks.com/wimbledon

Q. What do you like eating?

Laura: I like chocolate and ice-cream.

Q. Marat Safin or Fernando Gonzales?

Laura: Safin without a doubt.

Q. What are your aims for Wimbledon?

Laura: For seniors I'm just looking to get experience playing in my first Grand Slam.

Q. Which current player male and female do you most admire?

Laura: Male Federer, he is in my opinion the greatest player ever and winning Roland Garros just proved that. For the womens, Safina is the most improved player and results wise most consistent player on tour and she deserves to be number one.

Q. Which former player male and female do you most admire?

Laura: Andre Agassi for being the last person before Federer to win Grand Slams on all four surfaces. And Monica Seles, for coming back to being one of the top players in the world after being stabbed is astonishing.

Q. Have you played in Nottingham before?

Laura: I remember playing some kind of doubles thing when I was really young, I think I only played a couple of points though!

Laura will be playing in a round-robin tournament at the Nottingham Masters on June 13th and 14th.
