The worldwide legends circuit began in 1997, This unified worldwide circuit was comprised of the ATP Senior Tour of Champions in Europe (which was the successor of the ATP Senior Tour launched in 1992); the Nuveen Tour in North America (which began in 1993); and the Champions Tour on other continents, all sanctioned by the ATP Tour.
The Nottingham Tennis Masters is managed by Northern Vision, the team behind the Tradition Liverpool International Tennis Tournament and we’re proud to say that our event in Liverpool is now the largest tennis exhibition event in Europe. The legends tour is a popular part of our programme and it is an entertaining and also skilful game of tennis to watch. With players such as Richard Kracijek, Greg Rusedski, Mansour Bahrami and Peter McNamar coming to Nottingham, the Nottingham Masters will bring tennis legends to the already aptly named city of legends!
The tournament takes place from Thursday 11th June to Sunday 14th June at the Nottingham Tennis Centre and the four day tournament will see well known players play in a round robin format, with four or five matches a day. This will mean non - stop action! In addition to the legends players we also have a kid’s programme and a veteran’s tournament and a packed venue of exhibitors and entertainment.
